This high quality hitch installs easily on water-cooled BMW R1200 and 1250 GS and GSA models from 2013 to 2023. Installs with hand tools. No drilling or modifications required. All components powder coated to resist corrosion. Includes all required hardware. This is a super-sturdy well-made hitch that is just as rugged as the bike it’s bolted to. (The hitch you’ll get is black. The brightly-colored hitch in these pics is for illustration.)

* The tow rating of 500 lbs may seem “light” to you but that rating is not a limitation of the hitch. Generally, you want to keep the loaded weight of your trailer to 50% or less of the bike’s wet weight. For a GS, realistically, that weight is about 300 to 350 lbs.

Fitment Notes: Compatible with BMW and aftermarket bags and top cases with the following exceptions: 1) There is a known conflict with Jesse luggage systems. 2) If your bike is equipped with Vario bags, you may need to trim a small amount of material in the elbow of the hitch on each side to allow the rear locking tab of each bag to drop into place. Longer bolts may be required for the rear mounting point.
Wiring harness: A wiring harness is not included with this hitch as had been done in the past. The best solution is the plug-in ezCAN from Hex Systems.
This hitch is made to order, which typically takes 4 to 6 weeks.
